Yuan Liu, PhD
Yuan Liu received his B.S. degree in Material Chemistry from the Harbin Institute of Technology in 2011 and obtained his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from the University of Florida in 2016 under the supervision of Prof. Weihong Tan. Following postdoctoral training at the National Institutes of Health (NIH Mentor: Shawn Chen) and Harvard Medical School (Mentor: Omid Farokhzad), he joined the Hangzhou Institute of Medicine, Chinese Academy of Sciences as a principal investigator in May 2021. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Director of the Molecular Therapy and Omics Center and Vice Director of Key Laboratory of Protein Detection Technology and Diagnostic Equipment. He also holds joint professorships at Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study, University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Zhejiang Cancer Hospital (2025-).
